We are looking for exceptionally talented, highly motivated computer scientists and software engineers to join the QA team in our Westford, Massachusetts office. Dedication to ensuring the delivery of highly scalable, high quality products is required, along with an ability to develop QA automation software.  At a minimum, candidates should be well versed in Java, TCL, and QA automation tools, and they should have the willingness and aptitude to learn from others.

The software team operates at all levels of the networking stack, from the core IP connectivity up to end-user facing web applications. The team engages closely with RF engineers, some of the best electrical and mechanical engineers in the industry, and we make use of state of the art laboratories to ensure that ODIN's software represents the best of what is achievable. The team also works very closely with our customers to understand and surpass their needs. Our QA engineers must have the motivation and interpersonal skills to enable them to be this interface to the customer when necessary.

We are looking for exceptionally talented and experienced Software Team Leader who can lead the software team based in our Westford location.

Responsibilities include:

• Work on medium and large complex projects and products that require the highest level of expertise in software engineering.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team distributed across multiple ODIN facilities.
• Contribute key technical expertise which will have a direct material impact on ODIN’s reputation, and products.
• Developing software solutions using disciplined software development processes.
• Accountable for the team's results, or for a project, and takes responsibility for the quality of work delivered.
• Writing moderate to complex design specifications.
• Ability to translating business and technical requirements into detailed design specifications for the products and solutions.
• Provides assistance in researching new and emerging technologies. Works with vendors to understand technology. Evaluating new tools, technologies and platforms to be included.
• Provides technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the software development teams across the organization.

The candidate should have a minimum of 8-10 years of software engineering experience. Experience must also include architectural and design responsibilities as well.
